Winter Perch Attack How It Works
Rules and Application Rules and Applications Download Register Online

The PERCH ATTACK tournament series was born out of the American Trap Attack
tournament series, which we ran in Canada for two years.
We now run our own Canadian perch fishing series of events, all in Georgina, on Lake Simcoe.

This tournament is run on the same concept that most summer tournaments are run
and has proven to be a very popular format for our winter tournaments.

The WINTER PERCH ATTACK is a one-day event where anglers (2-man teams) are
released from shore (at our predetermined blast off spot) by their team number.
Team numbers are assigned to teams by their purchase date, so it is good
to purchase your entry ticket early to get a low blast off number.

There will be a rules & orientation meeting at the Lisa's Place Restaurant
at 6:00 pm Saturday, March 6th. Meeting Location Map

Cost per team is $200. ($220. at the door) plus $20 for the Big Fish Pool (optional)

Teams can pay their entry fees three ways:

  • Sign up on web site…Visa / Master Card  / AMX    BEST WAY
  • Print out application from our web site and mail it in with cheque
  • Pay at the event--- (extra $20. admin fee)

Once teams have blasted off on their snowmobiles, ATV’s or even on foot,
they can fish anywhere in our predetermined fishing zone.
(See zone map for this year’s fishing zone)

Teams must stay together and cannot fish closer than 50 feet of another team or
100 feet of a permanent or pre-placed ice hut.

Teams will then check back in at our check-in location
(the same as our blast off location) where they will get their 15 perch weighed
to determine the winners of the event.

Equipment:Teams must be self-sufficient, bringing all the equipment they will need
to successfully catch fish.
Which would include:

  • ATV or snowmobile,
  • ice auger,
  • portable fish hut (commercial brands only, with zipper doors),
  • personal fishing equipment,
  • bait,
  • 2 X 5 gallon pails,
  • warm clothing & boots, extra glove
These are not the rules. See RULES for a better understanding.
